To reach Harihareshwar, the nearest airport is Mumbai airport which is approximately 215 kms away from the destination. Nearest station from Mumbai is Mangaon which is 65 kms on Konkan railway stretch via the Mumbai Goa rail route.
While by road one needs to drive almost 230 kms from Mumbai to Harihareshwar via the Panvel-Mangaon-Goregaon Phata on Mumbai-Goa Highway.
After one reaches Mangaon, one needs to take the ghat along way and reach Shrivardhan after which there is a T-junction here and the left goes to Harihareshwar while the right to Shrivardhan. Harihareshwar is approximately 20 kms from this place.
From Bagmandala, Harihareshwar is just 4 kms. If you are traveling by road, make sure that you eat your snack before Lonere-Goregaon Phata because there is a ghat journey after this and traveling may get monotonous; besides the roads now get narrow and curvy.

Harihareshwar is often referred to as Devghar or house of God because towards the north is the temple of Harihareshwar which is said to have been blessed by Lord Vishnu. Even the sacred river Savitri enters the sea from the town of Harihareshwar.
In fact the whole town of Harihareshwar is known for its tranquility, silent winds and picturesque images. Devotees from all around the country come here to experience God and offer their prayers to the almighty.
